After months of work, today we finally launched FitWoody 2.0 on the App Store.

This version started with a question that kept coming back to me:

Why is it so hard to build a fitness habit?

Every January I promised myself that this would be the year. New shoes, a new playlist, and a vague idea of wanting to feel stronger and healthier. And every year, by the second or third week, I stopped. Work got intense, time got scarce, motivation faded.

Then I learned about something called Quitters Day. It is the second Friday of January, when most people have already abandoned their New Year’s resolutions. Realizing that I was part of that statistic hurt more than I expected.

So we set out to create something different.

An app that understands you instead of judging you.

Something that helps you move forward even when you are tired, busy, or uninspired.

FitWoody helps you in three ways

  1. It adapts to you. Every day is different. Some mornings you wake up ready to move, others you just need to recover. FitWoody adjusts your daily goals automatically so that progress feels natural and sustainable.
  2. It helps you set realistic goals. There are no empty promises like “a new you in 30 days.” FitWoody helps you start small, stay consistent, and build a routine that fits into your real life. Because progress that lasts is built on what you can repeat.
  3. It explains what your data really means. Sleep, heart rate, workouts, VO₂ Max... numbers alone can be overwhelming. FitWoody translates them into clear insights that help you understand your body and make better decisions. You go from confused to confident, from beginner to expert.

Designed for real life

We wanted FitWoody to feel as simple and familiar as checking the weather.

You open the app and see what matters today: how you are doing, what your body needs, and where to focus your energy.

The design is calm and human. The app celebrates small steps instead of punishing you for imperfect days. When you finish a workout, it does not just show calories. It shows context: whether you are improving, resting enough, or pushing too hard.

See your journey

With the new FitPassport, you can look back at your evolution over weeks, months, or years. It is a space to reflect, to see the progress that daily effort builds, and to feel proud of how far you have come.

Built with empathy

We have poured everything into this release. Every idea, every pixel, every late night has been about one goal: helping people stay consistent without guilt.

Because taking care of yourself should not be about perfection.

It should be about possibility.
